The child’s parent or legal guardian shall be present at every stage of the child’s participation in the Network’s TV programs.

The Network shall provide a safe, adequate and comfortable environment for the child.

The Network shall obtain the parent’s or legal guardian’s written consent for the child’s participation, including consent for medical care in case of an emergency.

No child shall be required to render services in a situation which places the child in clear and present danger to life or limb.

In the event that a child’s performance involves physical, athletic or acrobatic activity of an extraordinary nature, his parents or legal guardian must consent thereto in writing.

The Network will comply with any reasonable requests for equipment that may be needed for safety reasons.

In cases when the regular services of children are involved, the Network shall designate at least one (1) individual, who will be present at each stage of the production process (including, among others, auditions, interviews, rehearsals, production conferences) to coordinate all matters relating to the welfare of the children (hereafter the “child welfare coordinator”)

The Network shall strive to ensure that the child’s education will not be hampered by the terms and conditions of his engagement.

The working environment where the child is to perform must be appropriate for the child.

All acts, presentations, or performances that will be made by children must be age and developmentally-appropriate. When a child’s performance will be unscripted, e.g., the child will be asked to present his own number in a “talent portion” of a TV Program, the said performance shall be pre-screened to ensure that the same is age- and developmentally-appropriate.

The network shall engage a child psychologist who shall help monitor and ensure that the children who regularly appear in the network are not subjected to any act or influence that would be detrimental to their overall development.

All prizes that may be won or given to a child under fifteen years of age shall be handed to the child in the presence of his parent or legal guardian, and the said parents or legal guardian shall duly acknowledge receipt of the same.
