Cybercrime Law ipatutupad na -- DOJ

Dahil isa nang batas, tali na ang kamay ng Department of Justice (DOJ) kundi iiimplimenta ang Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 sa kabila ng kaliwa't kanang petisyon at protesta laban dito.

"We have our law now and it is our duty to execute the law, unless otherwise declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court or unless repealed by the crafters of the law, the Congress," paliwanag ni De Lima. Ang DOJ ang implementing agency ng batas at naatasang lumikha ng implementing rules and regulations (IRR) na magiging gabay ng pulisya sa pagpapatupad ng naturang batas.

 "I know there are objectionable portions and may I state, for the record, na hindi sa amin nanggaling ang mga provisions na 'yun -- the libel provision, the provision that gives us the take-down power. In fact, our position papers would show that we have actually raised questions on that... but that goes into the wisdom of the law and the crafters, 'yung authors of the law, siguro have to explain why those portions, those provisions are there," paliwanag pa nito.
